COVID-19 UPDATE
PLEASE NOTE:
Public Health restrictions surrounding Covid-19 are always changing. It is your responsibility to ensure that you will not be violating any current rules at the time of your scheduled session as we will be required to monitor them on-site. Thank you for your understanding!
Covid-19 Procedures
In response to the Covid-19 outbreak, Hoopla Island will be taking the following measures in addition to all existing public health orders, to further reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
We are limiting our park capacity to 30 participants per session to reduce the risk of close contacts.
We've implemented scheduled 1-hour sessions to minimize contact between customers outside of one's session. All participants must sign up for their desired timeslot on our website.
No day passes will be offered this year based on the 2 reasons listed above.
Hoopla Island staff will sanitize the floating park daily. Lifejackets are washed after each use and set aside in rotation to avoid being used frequently.
Social distancing of 2 meters is enforced by our staff while on Hoopla Island. Only those within family groups are exempt from this rule.
Contactless payments are highly encouraged such as credit and debit cards. Cash will still be accepted but only if necessary.
Our staff is instructed to follow these additional procedures:
- Always wear appropriate PPE when approaching customers.
- Sanitize hands frequently especially when approaching customers.
- Keep all work areas clean and frequently sanitized.
- Respect others; personal space whenever possible. This includes asking permission before approaching a customer.
If you see or experience anything of concern pertaining to the health and safety of our staff or customers, please notify management immediately.
