Are there age limits?


Yes. You must be at least 6 years old and taller than 1.1 meters (3'7"). And those between 6-8 must be accompanied with a paying adult. Children 5 and under are not permitted.




Are day passes available?


Unfortunately, not in 2021. Because of Covid-19, we have capacity restrictions and have had to limit interactions between people from different sessions. For these reasons, day passes are not offered in 2021. You may book 2 sessions in a row, but no additional discount will be given.




I have a large family. How does the special rate work for me?


The family rate is $55 for the first 4 members and $14 for each additional family member.




Do you have group rates?


Unfortunately, no. Group rates are not offered in 2021 because of Covid-19 restrictions.




I can't swim. Can I still come to Hoopla Island?


The activity is made for swimmers only so it is recommended that you do not attend. The water depth is at least 3 meters deep.




I'm a professional swimmer. Do I have to wear a lifejacket?


Yes. Lifejackets are mandatory and are included with the price of admission. You are allowed to bring your own lifejacket so as long as it is properly sized/fitted.

Can I bring my own lifejacket?


Yes! Please bring your own, especially during the pandemic season. Make sure that it is properly sized/fitted before you come.




How deep is the water?


The water depth range from a minimum of 3 meters and up to meters at the tallest structures.




What is your park capacity?


During the Covid pandemic, we have limited our park capacity to 30 participants per one-hour session.




Is alcohol permitted?


Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited. Do not consume before entering the park.




Do I need to make a reservation?


Yes. You must book ahead of time from our website in order to secure your 1-hour spot. Spaces are limited!




Is a deposit required for my reservation?


No. As a courtesy to you, we do not request an online deposit. All payment transactions will occur at the kiosk upon your arrival. However, we ask for this same courtesy should you need to cancel: please notify us as soon as possible if your plans change.




How do I cancel or re-schedule my reservation?


To cancel, please email us at hooplaisland@gmail.com or call us at 431800-4868 as soon as you are able. To re-schedule, you will be required to make a new reservation for your new time using our online system. Please remember to cancel your previous session with us first.




What happens if I am late for my session?


If you do not present yourself at the kiosk 20 minutes before your scheduled time, you will be listed as a noshow and your reservation will be cancelled. Should no one take your spot, you will still be allowed on Hoopla Island, but no discounts or extra time will be provided.




What happens if it rains?


Hoopla Island is just as safe when it rains. However, we will be forced to close should there be thunder, lightning, or strong winds. We will reopen as soon as the lifeguard says it is safe to do so.




Will I be notified if Hoopla Island closes because of bad weather?


Should we close for the day due to bad weather, a special closure statement will be posted on our website by 10AM on the same day. Please check the forecast and our website prior to attending. We aim to send a courtesy email to all registrants affected, but please be aware that it is still your responsibility to risk attending when the weather is uncertain. Should we close unexpectedly, we are not liable to compensate for any losses you may have incurred.




I'm planning a second visit. Do I have to sign the waiver again?


Nope! Once you sign a waiver, it is good for the whole summer at that location only.
